A glimpse into the circus ring

Keeping a ball in the air, standing on your hands or making a pyramid together: at Circus children discover what their bodies can do. They practise circus skills and also come up with new tricks of their own.

Handstand and balance

Standing on your hands or finding your balance on a large ball. Children practise controlling their movements.
Juggling

Throwing, watching and catching at just the right time. With juggling balls, children practise their coordination and concentration.
Tricks and pyramids

Making something together that you can't do alone. Children try out tricks and learn to pay attention to each other when building a pyramid.
Unicycling

Keeping your balance on one wheel is a new challenge. This circus discipline is also covered in the programme.

The specialist teacher adapts the exercises to suit the group. It's about trying things out and practising together, not about being able to do a trick already.
