Programme
Feeling, trying and trying again are at the heart of this activity. It doesn't have to work straight away: children are given space to practise using their hands and fingers.

With shaving foam and sand, children discover other ways to draw.

Threading beads on a string requires focused hand movements.

Practising cutting
Children discover how to use scissors.
Suitable for groups 2 to 4 (ages 5–8). The teacher adapts the activities to the group.
