Programme

Listening, copying and playing: percussion brings the group together in rhythm. The specialist teacher demonstrates how different sounds come from the drum.

Listening to rhythms

Children learn to hear and understand patterns.
Making sounds

They practise how to make a djembe produce different sounds.
Playing rhythmically

The sounds become part of a rhythm.
